TY Burrell (Modern Family) Guests Stars in the Premiere of "Doc McStuffins" Friday 3/23 on Disney Channel and Disney Junior

"Out of the Box" – Doc's Jack-in-the-Box patient, Little Jack, is scared about getting a check-up until Doc reassures him that his dad, Big Jack, will be with him the whole time. Emmy Award-winning actor Ty Burrell ("Modern Family") guest stars as Big Jack.

"Run Down Race Car" – When Donny's toy race car loses a race for the first time, Doc gives him a check up and realizes that his batteries need to be recharged.

This episode of Disney Junior's "Doc McStuffins" airs FRIDAY, MARCH 23 (10:00-10:30 a.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel with encore airings on the new Disney Junior channel.

"Doc McStuffins" is an animated series about a six-year-old girl who communicates with and heals stuffed animals and toys in her backyard clinic. Each episode features an original song and follows Doc and her stuffed animal friends Stuffy, Lambie, Hallie and Chilly, as they care for and nurture a toy in need. Under the consultancy of the Hollywood Health & Society division of the USC Annenberg Norman Lear Center, the series highlights the importance of taking care of oneself and others, while showcasing the hallmarks of great Disney storytelling – fantasy and wish fulfillment. "Doc McStuffins" airs daily during Disney Channel's Disney Junior programming block for kids age 2-7 and on the new 24-hour Disney Junior channel.

"Out of the Box" was written by Noelle Wright; "Run Down Race Car" was written by Kent Redeker. The episode was directed by Norton Virgien.

"Doc McStuffins" carries a TV-Y parental guideline.
