Play About Walt Disney, "Small World: A Fantasia"

                                     "Small World: A Fantasia"Features Scott Bryce

A play about Walt Disney and composer Igor Stravinskiy about the making of the animated film "Fantasia" sounds intriguing.

Newtown's Stray Kats Theatre Company will present a reading of Frederick Stroppel's "Small World: A Fantasia" with actors Scott Bryce as Disney and Robert Resnikoff as Stravinsky. The show runs Jan. 11 to 27.

Artistic director Kate Katcher stages the two-character work which will be presented at Edmond Town Hall’s Alexandria Room, 45 Main St., Newtown.

The not for profit professional theater company previously presented staged readings of contemporary classics and new works geared toward an adult audience.

Bryce is two-time Daytime Emy winner, best known for his portrayal of Craig Montgomery on "As the World Turns. TV credits include "Deception," "Homeland" and "Person of Interest." Film credits include "Up Close and Personal" and "Lethal Weapon 3." Broadway credits include "Caesar and Cleopatra" with Rex Harrison.

 Resnikoff is an actor, teacher, radio host and writer. He played Jack in “Brighton Beach Memoirs” at Playhouse on Park in West Hartford; Adrian in Theatre 4’s production of “Private Eyes,” and Claudius in a fund-raising production of “Hamlet” for Oddfellows in Middletown.

Tickets are $30 iin advance;l $35 at the door.
