Apple's Retail Stores Now Get Almost as Many Visitors as Disney Parks
But with a lot less fun! Which place would you like to spend your vacation? With Apple products costing a more than a weeks vacation, one has to wonder why such high prices.
In fact, in Q1 2013, Apple said that a record 121 million people visited its stores. That's close to the estimated 125 million visitors that Disney's parks and resorts get each quarter.
I wondered how that stacked up against Disney's theme parks across the globe. It turns out, they're close! Add up all the Disney lands and worlds and kingdoms and 125 million people visited a theme park in 2011, the last year for which statistics are available.
