Disneyland Paris getting a Ratatouille Dark Ride

                                                          Artist Rendering

An artist rendering discovered by the Disney Central Plaza fan website shows the Ratatouille Kitchen Calamity attraction planned at the Walt Disney Studios theme park in France.

With an estimated budget of $150 million, the new Ratatouille Kitchen Calamity attraction at the Disneyland Paris resort is expected to feature trackless ride vehicles with 3-D projections and special effects.

While waiting in the Ratatouille Kitchen Calamity queue, riders are expected to be "shrunk" to the size of a rat before being chased around Paris. Above, a scene from the animated movie.

Riders on the new Ratatouille Kitchen Calamity attraction at the Walt Disney Studios theme park in France likely will be chased around Gusteau's kitchen.

The villainous Chef Skinner from "Ratatouille" is expected to chase riders through Gusteau's kitchen in the new attraction coming to Walt Disney Studios theme park in France.

Table Service Restaurant
The new attraction building will include a table service restaurant that is expected to be called La Ratatouille, the bistro opened by Remy and his friends at the end of the animated film.

Remy, the rodent hero of "Ratatouille," has already been making appearances at Walt Disney Studios' Rendez-vous des Stars restaurant in the form of a tiny tableside animatronic figure that is part of Walt Disney Imagineering's Living Character initiative.
