MTAC 2013: Devil's Dozen Conventions - Welcomes Anime Superstar Voice Actors and Producers March 29-31

Here is some information about the "MTAC Devil's Dozen" returning to the Nashville Convention Center and Renaissance Nashville Hotel this Easter weekend.

Chris Cason
For over ten years, Chris Cason has participated in almost every facet of anime production, including voice acting, ADR directing, and scriptwriting. His work has been featured on Spike TV, The Independent Film Channel (IFC), Nicktoons, Cartoon Network, and The CW.

Chris's best known voice credits include: Tien and Mr. Popo in Dragonball Z, Holy Roman Empire in Hetalia: Axis Powers, Gluttony in Fullmetal Alchemist, Jack the Ripper in Soul Eater, Boo and Whitey in Shin-Chan, Miyamoto and M1 in Yu Yu Hakusho, Fumihiro in Initial D, Chamo in Negima, Hanai in School Rumble, Babbit in Kodocha, Taruru in Sgt. Frog, Seigfried in Kenichi, and Hanbei in Sengoku Basara.

Jennifer Cihi
Jennifer Cihi is no stranger to the stage, starting with a national tour of "Annie" at age 10. Even then, Jennifer knew that a career as a singer was her destiny. Apparently, so was fighting evil by moonlight. Jennifer provided the singing voice of Serena, Sailor Moon herself in the popular '90s anime series. Jennifer has also lent her singing voice to other anime titles, including theme songs for City Hunter and Hayao Miyazaki's Princess Mononoke (the English version of "The Tatara Women Song").

Todd Haberkorn
Todd Haberkorn is an American voice actor known for several anime characters, including Natsu from Fairy Tail, Italy from Hetalia, Ling Yao from Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Keroro from Sgt. Frog, Keiskuke from Initial D, Allen Walker from D. Gray Man, Hikaru Hitachin from Ouran High School Host Club, Death the Kid from Soul Eater, and many others.

Brittney Karbowski
Brittney started voice acting right out of high school at ADV Films and has now been in over 75 titles and counting at Funimation Entertainment, ADV, and Sentai Filmworks!

Some of her titles include Black Star in Soul Eater, Ikaros in Heaven's Lost Property, Sia in Shuiffle, Himeko in Pani Poni Dash, Pride in Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Ayu in Kannon, Ryou in Clannad, Kei in Effen Tale of Memories, Cal in Requiem for a Phantom, Minami in Cat Planet Cuties, Riful in Claymore, Kuu in Shattered Angels, Alice in High School of the Dead, Yuri in Angel Beats, Aoba in Jinki Extend, Rose in Red Garden, Eve in Needless, Momo in Xenosaga, Hinako in Ouran Host Club, Apis in One Piece, Ui in Chaos Head, Hikari in Sekirei, and much more!

Jonathan Klein
Jonathan Klein is the Vice-President and co-owner of New Generation Pictures, Inc. - a visual media production company for ADR voice production and translation of anime and video games. His company produces the English language versions of popular anime, including such popular anime as Hellsing Ultimate, Gun x Sword, Kamichu, R.O.D the TV, Ikki Tousen, 3x3 Eyes and many other titles. Jonathan has also directed English dubs of anime including Ergo-Proxy, Haibane Renmei, Texhnolyze, Melody of Oblivion and Satoshi Kon's Paranoia Agent.

Besides anime, Jonathan has also produced and/or directed many video game projects including; Street Fighter IV, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Final Fantasy IV, Star Ocean: The Last Hope, and Valkyrie Profile 2. Jonathan has also been working with Marvel Comics on a series of videogames based on comic-book characters such as The Fantastic Four, Captain America, Hulk, Ghost Rider, Moon Knight, Thor, X-Men and The Avengers.

Jamie Marchi
Raised on a steady diet of Bob Saget, Anton Chekhov, Journey, and Mentos, Jamie Marchi has been acting professionally for a number of years, which, in the interest of national security, shall not be disclosed at this time. What shall be disclosed is she is not only the lead writer for the script adaptation of Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, but also the voice of Panty (co-starring with fellow MTAC Guest Monica Rial's Stocking)!


Some of her popular voice acting roles are: Witchblade (Masane/The Witchblade), Hetalia (Narrator), Soul Eater (Liz), Sgt. Frog (Aki), Shin Chan (Miss Polly), YuYu Hakusho (Juri), Fruits Basket (Motoko), Black Cat (Rinslet), Spice and Wolf (Chloe), Rin (Mimi), Blassreiter (Amanda), Negima (Haruna), Burst Angel (Meg), Claymore (Helen), One Piece (Miss Valentine), Ouran (Chizuru), FMA(s) (Rebecca, Rick), Strike Witches (Shirley), The Tower of Druaga (Fatina), Rosario + Vampire (Ms. Nekonome), Sekirei (Uzume), Legend of the Legendary Heroes (Milk), Sengoku Basara (Matsu), Baka and Test (Shouko), and the unforgettable Mikako Satsukitane in Heaven's Lost Property.

Monica Rial
Monica Rial has been working in the anime voice over industry for 13 years. As an actress for ADV Films and Funimation Entertainment, she has lent her voice to over 250 anime, including the voice of Stocking in Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt with fellow MTAC guest Jamie Marchi.

She can be heard on Cartoon Network in Deadman Wonderland (Shiro), Casshern Sins (Ringo), Samurai 7 (Shino) and FMA Brotherhood (May Chang). You can also catch her on Nicktoons and the CW as Bulma in Dragonball Z Kai. She's appeared in several video games including Ms. Splosion Man, Comic Jumper, and Borderlands 2.

Eric Stuart
As a singer/songwriter, Eric Stuart has toured the country with such rock legends as Peter Frampton, Ringo Starr, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. He's also opened for such acts as Jethro Tull, Julian Cope, Hall and Oates, and Chicago. All this while continuing a successful voice acting/directing career, starring in hit shows including Pokemon (original Brock & James), Yu-Gi-Oh! (Seto Kaiba), Viva Pinata, Ultimate Muscle (DikDik Van Dik, Mac Metaphor,), Dinosaur King (Dr. Z), Kirby (Metaknight), Slayers (Gourry), Chaotic, Sonic X, TMNT (Gen, Yoshi), GoGoRiki, G.I. Joe Sigma 6 (Hi-Tech), in addition to voicing many national radio and TV commercials and audiobook narrations. The author J.R. Rain has tapped Eric to be his go-to voice to record all of his audiobooks. Eric has just finished recording "Teeth: A Vampire For Hire Story" and is working on a trilogy about a modern day King Arthur. All available elusively on Audible.com.

Nao Yazawa
Nao Yazawa is a Japanese manga artist. She is most well known for her popular shojo magical girl manga series Wedding Peach, which was made into an anime series of the same name. However, she originally began her manga career as a shonen-mangaka with the young boys comic magazine CoroCoro Comic.

Her latest work is Moon and Blood (a shojo series), published in the US by Digital Manga Publishing. A previous work of hers - The Isolated Zone: Shinku Chitai (a seinen series) - will soon be released from Digital Manga Guild.
