Disney XD's "Marvel Universe" Programming Block Will Share the Same Continuity

I posed a question to Marvel via Twitter around C2E2 regarding Disney XD's revamped Marvel Universe programming block airing this summer.

Q: Will "Avengers Assemble", "Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H." and "Ultimate Spider-Man" have continuity like the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

A: In a word, YES.

This is GREAT NEWS! It seems that all of their series will all take place in the same time and place much like the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Marvel (Comics) Universe. All of those series mentioned above are produced by Man of Action Studios and share a lot of the same voice talent.

"Marvel’s Avengers Assemble", is a new animated show featuring Adrian Pasdar as Iron Man, with Fred Tatasciore as the Hulk, Craig Smith as Captain America, Travis Willingham as Thor, Troy Baker as Hawkeye, Laura Bailey as Black Widow, and Bumper Robinson as Falcon.

"Hulk and the Agents S.M.A.S.H." Has Fred Tatasciore as the Hulk with Clancy Brown as Red Hulk, Eliza Dushku as She-Hulk, Ben Diskin as Skaar, and Seth Green as A-Bomb. Hulk and the Agents S.M.A.S.H. will debut on Sunday, August 11.

Many of these voice actors have voiced these characters for "Ultimate Spider-Man" which is a huge hit on Disney XD!

A one-hour preview of "Marvel’s Avengers Assemble" will air on Sunday, May 26, 2013, with the show making its official Disney XD debut on Sunday, July 7.

"Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man" will also return for episodes for one powerhouse of a television block. To date, it’s Disney XD’s number one animated series with kids.
