E3 2014: New Star Wars: Battlefront in development - focuses on original trilogy (video teaser)
One of my favorite game series for the Playstation 2 was the Star Wars: Battlefront series. At this year's E3 we know know that a new Star Wars: Battlefront is in development from Mirror's Edge developer DICE, to be published by EA.
The developers have visited the Lucasfilm archives to do some hardcore research and scans of Star Wars props and models from the films to be used in the game as well as visited some of the locations where the movies were shot to add authenticity to the game. In doing so it not only inspired the team but helped them connect on an emotional level with the franchise, something we Star Wars fans know all too well. Check out this great video footage below!

Wow! What a great piece of footage. DICE has done a great thing by putting this trailer out there for us Star Wars gamers. I can't wait to see what they have in store for us when the game launches Summer of 2015! What did you think of the footage? Are you excited about the game? What characters and/or improvements would you like to see in this new game? Leave your comments below.
