See the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Official Teaser

The world nearly broke the internet in search of leaked footage of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. I had speculated on Sorcerer Radio and WDW After Dark that a teaser trailer would be released Thanksgiving weekend. Just days ago Lucasfilm announced releasing the much anticipated trailer for Episode VII during the Thanksgiving weekend. After tons of fake fan-made trailers were being uploaded to YouTube (and Rick-roll prank teasers that were great for a few laughs) were being viewed just days before the actual trailer would be released, Walt Disney Studios and Lucasfilm had issued a statement that the real trailer would be released in select theatres this weekend.

That didn't slow down the internet one bit and fan reaction to these faux trailers were getting a very negative reaction. Rolling Stone even wrote a review on a fan trailer on their website (only to correct the post after the official trailer was released). The studio then decided to go ahead and release the official trailer on the StarWars.com website as well as iTunes in order to make sure fans seeing the footage would get the very best an official footage out there - from the Mouse itself!

Now we have the trailer for you to see in all its glory. I've seen in at least 20 times today while doing the Black Friday special of WDW Tiki Room and doing some holiday shopping. It's never gotten old one bit. And now I present to you the very first footage of Star Wars: The Force Awakens!
